Huli App Terms & Conditions

Life Above the Line™(dba under and Luminesse Designs LLC)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Huli app and related services (“Services”) operated by Life Above the Line™ and Luminesse Designs LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

 

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you represent that you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Services.

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete such information promptly.

 

Use by Minors

If you are between 13 and 17, you understand that:

  • The app provides general educational and self-development content.

  • It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

  • You should seek support from a trusted adult or licensed professional if you are experiencing significant emotional distress.

 

2. Nature of Services

Huli provides guided emotional awareness and personal development practices.

The Services are:

  • Educational

  • Informational

  • Self-development oriented

They are NOT:

  • Medical advice

  • Psychological therapy

  • Mental health treatment

  • Crisis services

No professional-client relationship is created.

If you are in crisis, call emergency services or a licensed professional immediately.

 

3. User Responsibility

You agree:

  • To use the Services voluntarily

  • To take responsibility for your well-being

  • To stop any practice if uncomfortable

  • Not to misuse the platform

 

4. Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials

  • All activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

 

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features may require payment.

Payments are processed by third-party providers (Apple, Google, Stripe, etc.).

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through the purchasing platform.

We are not responsible for billing errors made by third-party platforms.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All content, text, practices, frameworks, trademarks (including Life Above the Line™), and materials are owned by Life Above the Line™ and Luminesse Designs LLC.

You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Copy

  • Modify

  • Distribute

  • Reverse engineer

Without written permission.

 

7. AI Disclaimer

The app uses artificial intelligence to generate guidance.

AI-generated responses:

  • May not always be accurate

  • Are not professional advice

  • Should not replace independent judgment

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Life Above the Line™ and Luminesse Designs LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Emotional distress

  • Business losses

  • Data loss

  • Any damages arising from use of the Services

Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

 

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Life Above the Line™ and Luminesse Designs LLC from any claims arising from your misuse of the Services.

 

10. Termination

We may terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms.

 

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Life Above the Line™ and Luminesse Designs LLC is registered.

13. Refund Policy

Because Huli provides immediate access to digital content and services, all purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law.

A. Subscriptions Purchased Through Apple or Google

If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

  • All billing, cancellation, and refund requests must be handled directly through the platform where the purchase was made.

  • We do not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases processed through those platforms.

  • Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple or Google.

B. Subscriptions Purchased Directly (e.g., via Stripe)

If you purchase a subscription directly through our website:

  • You may request cancellation at any time.

  • Access will continue through the end of your current billing period.

  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partially used subscription periods.

C. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare and limited cases, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund or account credit. Approval of any refund request does not create an obligation to provide refunds in the future.

D. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account.
